Need further proof that the government is over-stepping its surveilance powers to stifle legitimate activities?
Check out this story where University of Massachucetts senior doing research for a class on facism checked out a book from his school library and got a visit from the Dept of Homeland Security wanting to know why he wanted to read this book.
Apparently, the government is monitoring inter-library loans now, so be sure if you are doing research to make sure you don't offend the government by looking at books on "the list."
